Another video of my last concert with the "New Orleans Hot Peppers" in Berlin. I am still shocked and deeply sad about the loss of Claus Jacobi a few weeks ago. I am so grateful that I had the honor to be invited by him into his band!

This song never existed in the 20s. Allen made it up for his movie "Zelig" in 1983, sounding like an original recording from this period with strange and funny lyics - even showing dancers doing the "Chameleon"! But everything about this dance is fake ;-) This is my vocal version (slightly adjusted to the "original" sound quality) - I hope you like it!

This title is a milestone in the history of Swing; written in 1938 and well known (and played!) until today. I choosed (again) a Slim Gaillard group for my accompaniment; I really like their style (please forgive the slightly "rough" condition of the original track). And btw: do you know that the lyrics are quite naughty ... ;-) ?!

How did you preamplified it? I mean I know these mics were noisy. BTW: congrats for the song! You performed it really well.
I am using a small phono pre-amplifier for magnetic turntable systems (these microphones produce a slightly hissing background noise which is still detectable). And: thank you very much for your kind feedback - I have some more vocal videos where I used this microphone…😉
